My experiences in Paris #4

CaptureLater on we saw the Disney Parade. Since it was late December then, it wasn’t the typical Disney Parade. Instead, it was a Christmas Parade. The attires of all the characters were revamped to suit the exuberant Christmas atmosphere. An array of competent dancers performed some wonderful moves. At night, we witnessed the colourful firecracker show. The Disney Castle was lit up and everything seemed like a dream… An indescribable spectacle.

We spent the following day in the Walt Disney Studious Park. This time I was resolute and wanted to make the most of my opportunity to visit this place. As soon as we entered, it was decided that I would be going on some rides alone and a meeting point was decided.

We started off with The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. The queue seemed long but we just

didn’t bother. After a while we were given the chance. We were taken to a room where an antique television showed us the tragic story of the Hollywood Tower Hotel in which people mysteriously disappeared from the hotel’s elevator. Now, it was our chance to be seated on this elevator and experience the adrenaline rush. In the ride, we were risen to the height of about a 13 story building and then dropped down. I almost felt weightless at time during the drop, held only by my seat belt. Moreover, there is a supernatural element added to the drop. At times, we are suddenly stopped at some floors and saw the spirits of the missing people, who were calling us. And again, the visual effects are just amazing and beyond expectation.
The other rides I went on were Crush’s Coaster, Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop, RC Racer, Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith. All these rides were so great that I can’t explain them with words. One has to experience each of them. But, I will definitely say that the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster must not be missed at all. It is a fast paced enclosed roller coaster ride. The neon signs in the dark ride along with the flashing lights just make it feel even more faster. One is bound to be dizzy after finishing the ride.

IMG_5253We also watched the Animagique show  which is an amalgam of adventure and state of the art visual effects. The show features numerous Disney characters from different movies.

    1. Yep. Those kids who have grown up watching Disney movies must visit both the Disneyland and Walt Disney Studio Park. The former has more characters involved whereas latter is loosely based on Disney stars and deals more with Behind the Scenes actions, Fast roller coasters, accelerated drops etc.
In a nutshell these parks can entertain people regardless of their age.
