My experiences in Paris #5

There were some other places that I visited as well. These include the Arc de Triomphe, Basilique du Sacré-Cœur, Panthéon and Musée du Louvre.

All of these were wonderful sites. The Sacré Cœur is a place I will definitely recommend any visitor to go. The luxe interiors, stained glass and dim surroundings are just a few of the things that intrigued me.

An unfortunate thing for me was that the queue at Louvre Museum was extremely long. All of us were keen on getting a glimpse of some of the most artistic creations by man and especially the renowned Mona Lisa. But we reached a consensus that we would not enter the Louvre as waiting in the queue would take more than half the day. Though I was dejected at first but then it dawned upon me that entering the Louvre Museum might be an indication that I am destined to come to Paris again.

Our last few hours in Paris saddened me. We spent some time in Musée Grévin. My opinion about this Wax Statue Museum is ambivalent because some of the sculptures looked very realistic while some were in stark contrast.

My week’s stay in Paris has created a foison of beautiful memories. Two things that attracted me to Paris and will continue to are ‘Antique architecture and Stupendous monuments.’
